Our amazing trip to Qatar cannot be described in words,
But we will try our best…
The journey itself started months before with our teams’ organizing, preparing and working around the clock…
Everything is ready- we are leaving- 70 children and team members of the Qatar team, we are on our way!
When we arrive , we had dinner and were quickly on our way to the first game at Al-Khor Stadium with another 66 thousand of the most colorful fans!
England against Senegal, Ari Kane and other players didn’t leave Senegal much of a chance, with an easy 3-0 and that’s how we opened the World Cup in Qatar…
The next morning, we all dress in green wait in excitement for the Brazilians, but before that, in ‘Fulfilling dreams’, as in ‘Fulfilling dreams’, the morning must start off as strong as possible – a crazy jeep trip in the sands of Qatar, endless sand and amazing views. We stopped for a view of Saudi Arabia and a delicious barbecue in front of the sunset. Just warming up for the main event, preparing to shake up the Doha Stadium and that’s how it was… Neymar and the gang with 4 goals to the South Korean net that shrunk the result with a goal and of course a crazy scissors trick by Richarlson right in front of our kids who were sitting on the grass- what celebrations there were after the game… 2am and we had to drag the children back to the bus to sleep…
The next morning was calmer, starting with a tour in a huge mall! But there is no time to hang around, we came to watch football! We started in the fanzone to see Morocco-Spain, a little tense but we were facing the Louisville stadium together with 84 thousand fans to see Portugal dismantle Switzerland 6-1, what a game! What a crowd! And in the midst of all this madness, one of councilors stood up on his chair and lifted the whole audience to their feet!
When you come to Qatar you have to do everything! A tour of the promenade and market of Qatar, and how can you not go to a huge amusement park inside a mall! We have already forgotten there’s daylight outside…
Continuing to the last night in Qatar together with the Croatian team who came to say hello!
Just before returning home, they came to finish as strong as possible.
An amazing and large wooden ship took us on a crazy cruise in the sea – we got to see all of Doha from there – the stadiums, skyscrapers, crazy luxury yachts, and of course our logistics team managed a DJ stand at the barbecue that only they know and can do, we don’t remember ever having such an experience!
